FREE LABEL DESIGN STUDIO

Your brand.
Your finishing touch.

Create a woven brand label, a text care label or a two-sided hangtag. Set dimensions in millimetres, preview your artwork and export a watermarked true-size PDF. No account or database required.

01 / FORMAT & DIMENSIONS

Define the cut size.

Cut size 60 × 20 mm · no fold

Dimensions describe the unfolded cut label. Bleed adds to the PDF page size; fold/sewing allowances reduce the content area.

02 / BRAND & TYPOGRAPHY

Make it yours.

Up to 5 MB. Replaces the brand headline in the artwork. Processed locally.
03 / CARE LABEL CONTENT

Write the product information.

Example text is a layout sample, not care advice for your garment. Use validated composition, origin and care information for the destination market. This tool uses text instructions rather than a licensed care-symbol library.

03 / HANGTAG FRONT & BACK

A complete brand touchpoint.

The hole is a finishing guide, not a printed graphic in the clean artwork PDF. No barcode is generated from the SKU text.

04 / SUPPLIER NOTES

Keep the handover clear.

Every page includes a TUGHAN TEXTILE watermark.

Make the trim list complete

List zippers, buttons, snaps, elastic, cords, eyelets, patches, labels and hangtags. Include sizes, material, colour, placement and any performance requirements. Accessories can have procurement minimums unrelated to garment quantity, especially custom moulded or branded hardware.

Separate branding from product information

A brand label and a care or composition label serve different purposes. Plan the space, language, legibility and attachment method. Destination labelling requirements vary; confirm the current rules for the market and product before artwork approval. This guide does not certify a label for any market.

Specify how the garment reaches the customer

Confirm folding, individual bags, size stickers, hangtags, barcode files, bundle ratios and carton markings. Supply usable artwork and data rather than asking the packing team to infer it. A retail-ready packing request should be priced before production begins.

Review the full packed sample

Check label position against comfort, tag attachment against fabric damage and bag dimensions against the folded garment. Packing materials add weight and volume. Freight costing from finished garment weight alone is a simplified estimate; the final shipment depends on packed dimensions and carrier rules.

Woven labels, care labels and hangtags have different jobs

Define the woven brand label’s cut size, fold, sewing allowance and legibility. Give the care label the confirmed fibre composition, destination-appropriate information and approved care instructions. Set the hangtag’s front/back artwork, finished size, stock, hole and attachment. The free studio creates watermarked proofs; your label supplier still confirms production artwork, colours, minimums and technical suitability.

Build the packing instruction around fulfilment

Specify one garment per bag or an agreed alternative, folding method, size sticker, SKU/barcode, assortment, carton contents and carton marks. Separate garment count, net weight, gross weight and carton dimensions. Do not assume bespoke packaging is included in a garment price. An online label preview does not verify a barcode or establish legal compliance in the destination market.

Questions, answered

Can packaging change the freight price?

Yes. Packed dimensions and gross weight can change chargeable freight. The online calculator uses net product weight only.

Can you write my care label from a photo?

The label should follow confirmed composition, product testing and destination requirements. Appearance alone is not enough.

Can the factory invent my barcode numbers?

Provide the correct codes and usable artwork/data for your sales channel. Do not let packing staff guess identifiers.

Should I include a size sticker and a size label?

Specify both if required, with format and location. They serve different points in the handling and retail process.

Can I choose packaging after production is finished?

Late choices can delay shipment or change cost. Confirm dimensions, artwork, quantities and packing ratios early.

Can I design labels here without creating an account?

Yes. The label studio works locally in your browser. Your editable draft stays on this device; download a PDF for sharing.

Can I type my brand name instead of uploading a logo?

Yes. Enter brand text and choose one of the built-in typography styles, or upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo image.

Are my label dimensions cut size or folded size?

The width and height are the unfolded cut size in millimetres. Fold and sewing allowances reduce the usable artwork area; the calculated dimensions are shown beside the controls.

Why is a hangtag PDF larger than the cut size?

Bleed extends the artwork beyond the cut edge. A 50 × 90 mm tag with 3 mm bleed on each side creates a 56 × 96 mm artwork page.

Does the PDF include the front and back of my hangtag?

Yes. The artwork PDF contains two pages for hangtags: front first, then back. The A4 specification export shows each side with dimension and finishing guides.

Will the hang hole be printed in the clean artwork?

No. The hole is shown as a guide on the preview and specification sheet. The label supplier uses the approved hole dimensions and position for finishing.

Can I use any care instructions from an example?

Example text demonstrates a layout only. Confirm fibre composition, product testing, origin and destination requirements before approving actual label content.

Are the PDFs loom-ready or a vector master?

They are high-resolution RGB artwork proofs at defined physical sizes. A woven-label or print supplier must confirm weaveable detail, thread or ink colours, materials and any vector-file requirements.

How do I print at the correct size?

Use the artwork PDF with Actual size or 100% scale. Disable Fit to page. The A4 specification is a separate handover document and states any drawing reduction.

Can I keep editing after I download a PDF?

Customer downloads are PDF only, with TUGHAN TEXTILE on every page. Editing continues from the local draft in the same browser; the PDF is not an editable project backup or an authenticated approval.

Is the watermarked label PDF ready to send straight to a loom?

It is a measured artwork proof, not a clean production master. The supplier confirms artwork format, legibility, colour, construction, minimums and production suitability.

Are custom hangtags and boxes always included?

No. Record each packing component and whether it is included or separately quoted. Special packaging may have its own minimum and lead time.

What is the difference between net and gross shipment weight?

Net weight describes the goods under the agreed definition; gross weight includes the packed shipment. Request an accurate packing list and clarify what each quoted weight includes.
